The Made in Italy Cluster has appointed Alberto Bassi as chairman of the Cluster and the Coordination and Management Committee. A historian and critic of design and a full professor at the IUAV University of Venice, Bassi assisted the Cluster in its previous management as vice president.
This marks the beginning of a new phase, in which initiatives will be implemented with the aim of making the Cluster a national entity capable of encompassing diverse businesses and research centers, linking them operationally in projects that promote innovation and new opportunities for competitiveness.
For the Cluster, both the connecting role at the national level and the constant involvement of companies, industrial or artisan, employer entities and research organizations not only academic, remain crucial.
Activities will soon be launched with a new working group, whose coordination involves Pietro Pantano, Alberto Bassi, Lucia Pietroni and Rosanna Veneziano, who will work on the execution of thematic tables, communication, and planning, competitive calls and forms of financing.
A first joint convening of the organizing committee and members is scheduled for Nov. 25, 2024.
